Each glass surface has several layers of anti-reflective coating while providing a transmission of light received of more than 99.8%. This multi-layer MRC coating also offers greater protection to keep it clean for as long as possible. Its 8 multilayer layers on each side significantly reduce the reflections (flare, sensor reflections) at the origin of the ghost images.

The B + W F-Pro MRC UV Filter is made of Schott glass for exceptional optical clarity and color fidelity. This filter with standard F-Pro mount is compatible with any focal length greater than or equal to 24mm in full size or 16mm in APS-C.

Suitable for film and digital shooting, it can be permanently mounted on the lens to protect the front lens from dirt and other possible damage (scratches, shocks). The B + W filters benefit from high-quality manufacturing (glass + frames) resulting from a know-how 'made in Germany' over 60 years, to improve the photographic quality without altering the light source or the quality of the optics used.
