VND Diffusion Filter - Mist Edition

A variable ND filter gives you total check on the shutter speed in all lighting conditions. It also helps you maintain a frequency of slow motion images, for example when shooting a video. The four possible settings make it possible to correct the light from 2 to 5 stops. This is equivalent to a gray filter ND4 to ND32. This VND filter is ideal if you are filming at sunrise or sunset, when the amount of light decreases.

The diffuse part of the filter adds a soft and smooth appearance to the sequence. It also gives a polite look to subjects without sacrificing the contrast and color accuracy. This mild aspect brings a surplus of production value. Ideal for creative shots in documentaries, short films, music clips and other commercial projects.
Golden perfection

The filter consists of two Polarpro cinemasery glass parts that you can rotate one on the other to allow the desired amount of light to fall on your goal. The high quality glass offers a high optical quality and is totally neutral in terms of color. The gilded aluminum mount has a laser engraved stop indicator, which allows you to read exactly the number of light diaphragms that are stopped by the filter. When you set the ring on one of the four settings, you feel a slight click at each stop. This haptic perception allows you to feel with your fingers that the filter has reached another stop. This allows you to set the filter without leaving the viewfinder of the camera. It also eliminates cross-polarization and vignetting, even at 16 mm focal distances.
Defender360 - No imprint on your glass

The Polarpro MIST filter comes in a Defender360 protective case that can also serve as a lens cap. This special objective cover will prevent you from leaving footprints on the filter when you turn it on. With the protection case, you never have to touch the glass of the filter. The ecological packaging of Edition II of MIST also includes a microfibre cleaning cloth in case you accidentally affected the glass.
