An excellent AF and a foolproof Vibration Compensation (VC) image stabilizer

The A034 lens is equipped with the Tamron MPU dual microprocessor: one unit is dedicated to the stabilizer and another to the control of the lens system including the AF. Each MPU has a DSP (digital signal processing) block for high signal processing that balances reliable vibration compensation and outstanding AF performance. The Tamron VC Image Stabilizer offers a gain of 4 stops **. The USD engine (Silent Ultrasonic Motor) offers excellent control and instant response for high-speed focusing. In addition, a permanent manual focus control allows you to make very precise manual adjustments without having to change the focus mode.
