A more compact and lightweight version of the SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports. Attached or not to the case, this lens is easy to carry. The foot collar is removable. It can be removed and replaced with a protective tape, to lighten the weight and facilitate even more freehand shooting. This is the optimal choice for photographers who want to benefit from a high-performance telephoto lens, while being able to photograph and travel light.

A removable foot collar.

The foot collar is removable, allowing the lens to be carried and used without bulky accessories. When the collar is replaced by the protective tape, the weight of the lens is then reduced to 1830g for easy transport. Without its foot collar, the storage of the lens is also facilitated by the absence of protruding parts. Finally, the foot collar has a magnesium construction, whose characteristic is to be both lightweight and robust.
Weatherproof bayonet

The bayonet, like that of the SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports line is provided with a seal to protect it from water and dust.
The zoom ring can be locked at any focal length.

The new zoom lock control can be activated at any focal length, depending on the photographer's choice. This allows a permanently secure shot, whether the zoom is pointing up or down. This feature can also be very useful in case of long exposure.
