The main slider unit supports small cameras and smartphones up to 750g and can be controlled with an infrared remote control to start, stop, accelerate or slow the movement of your cursor along the provided track. There are nine preset speeds controlled by the remote control and a small LED on the slider displays the current speed level. The cursor will run horizontally or at a 90 ° angle along the track for more complex shots. If you prefer, the unit can also be moved manually along the track.

The unit can also be removed from the track and used as a stand-alone head to mount on a tripod, create inverted or crane shots, and create panoramas or accelerated videos using the remote control. The included micro-carriage mounting wheels can be connected to the main unit for independent rolling in straight or curved motion on a flat surface for tighter and more confined shots.

The main unit runs for about two hours with a fully-charged 2000 mAh built-in lithium-ion battery and can be charged using the included USB charging cable. A 1/4 "-20 thread allows mounting on a tripod, and a 1/4" -20 ball head screw on the top allows mounting of the camera. There is an additional 3/8 "-16 threaded mount for accessories.
