THE PODCAST APPLI

The Podcast app simplifies the achievement of high quality production. With the dedicated Sound Pads, use the touch screen to trigger sound effects, background music and much more. Choose from 13 high quality sounds or charge yours using an SD card.
The Podcast app allows you to use up to 4 microphones and two Sound Pad channels.

The Music App

The Music app puts all important orders at your fingertips: audio volumes, faders and level measurement. With 10 tracks, it's easy to record a large group. Mix, superimpose and improve your records with equalization and compression. Connect to Zoom Guitar Lab by USB to access an infinite assortment of amps and effects.

The outer app

The outer app is ideal for taking sound on site, sound design, conferences, etc. It gives you instant access to large level indicators for each track, which guarantees you recordings without any saturation. Adjust the input type quickly, the bottom-up filter, compression, limiter, gate noise and other essential parameters.

The micro capsule

The H8 comes with the XYH-6 microphone. This capsule actually comprises two high quality assorted unidirectional microphones for capturing the signal directly in front of the recorder. You can easily change capsule to always use the micro best suited to the situation.


Inputs and outputs

The H8 offers 4 XLR inputs each with its attenuation switch and gain control. 2 Additional XLR / TRS mixed sockets with high impedance selectors (HI-Z) allow you to capture line level signals, microphones, or directly save guitars and low power.

Check the tracks with the 3,5 mm integrated headphone output or connect directly to your camera using the dedicated stereo line output.


Multichannel audio interface

The H8 is a powerful USB audio interface. Connect it by USB to your PC, Mac, or iPad to simultaneously record up to 12 channels.

File formats and recording time

Get more than 15 hours of recording with only 4 AA batteries. Or register without limit with the optional ad-17 adapter.
