The Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 has a large F1.4 aperture. This 85mm is composed of 9 elements in 7 groups including 1 hybrid aspherical lens. Each lens has received Ultra Multi Coating treatment to reduce flare and ghosting and increase resolution.

The diaphragm is made up of 9 blades and provides superb blurring outside the focal plane - much appreciated in portrait photography.

The Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 incorporates the most advanced technologies from Samyang. The new LSM engine provides quieter and faster autofocus (combined with the movement of a single optical group). Its size and weight remain moderate (only 485g without caps or hood) for an F1.4 opening and they contribute to its great portability.
